Standard Nozzle
The standard-nozzle is inserted by default into the device. This nozzle is used for various applications for non-conductive substrates. Conductive Substrates such as metals or conductive polymers cannot be treated reliably with this nozzle.
Nearfield-Nozzle
The nearfield-nozzle has been specially developed for the treatment of conductive substrates.
Multigas-Nozzle
The multigas-nozzle can be operated in two different modes: with our withour external gas supply.
When operating without external gas supply, the nozzle can be used to treat small or difficult to access areas. By unscrewing the front needle cap, the inner electrode-needle is exposed. For trewating narrow grooves, holes or other cavities the needle can be used for a precise treatment.
Operation with external gas supply: a silicone tube (outher diameter 4 mm) is enclosed for the lateral gas connector of the needle cap. Plug this tube gently onto the gas connector. The tube is fastened to the piezobrush PZ2 handhaled device with the enclosed Velcro tape to relieve the nozzle against pulling forces from the tube. The performance with the following gases was tested: nitrogen, argon and helium. Flow range: app. 0.5 to 3.0 litres/minute
