General information:
ELSOLD®
cored solder wires have been used successfully in electronics for
decades, and allow solder and flux to be applied to soldering joints
simultaneously. Despite the development of solder pastes which serve the
same purpose, cored solder wires have been able to hold their own, and
are still the preferred solution for applications such as manual/repair
soldering or automatic soldering (robot soldering). ELSOLD® cored solder
wires are available in a wide range of different versions, offering
unparalleled variety. What is most innovative about these products,
aside from the purity of the base metal, is the constant adaptation of
flux compounds to production parameters and processes. This means that
rosins and activators must be adapted to higher or modified processing
temperatures.
The choice of
suitable flux components and strictly controlled production conditions
allow ELSOLD® to manufacture top quality cored solder wires.

We are of course also happy to accept custom orders for your preferred alloy and required flux type.
Individual
orders are available with a choice of flux content from 0.5 % to 4.5 %
in 0.5 % increments. Standard reel sizes available: 0.25 kg / 0.50 kg /
1.00 kg / 2.50 kg / 5.00 kg. Non-standard reel sizes are available on
request. All cored solder wires are available from a diameter of 0.3 mm
upwards. Diameters are subject to the standard tolerances stipulated in
DIN 12224-1. Single or multi-core versions are readily available.
